This is the portfolio site for dancer sisters Maria and Alexandra. Also included are their two dance troupes : Pandora's Tribe is usually done in duets and Wyrd S'stars in form of a larger quartets. ​​

Alexandra and Maria started as theatre actors in the theatres of Moscow in following with their actor parents. Recently they have taken the concepts they learnt from stage performance and started incorporating it into dance.

Coming from a roaming theatre troupe​ family from Europe, the dancers have been inspired by world stage performers and buskers in their way of expression and artistry:  ​​

- Russian Roma Gypsy Theatre  - South African Street Performers - Isreali Folk Performers - Bolshoi Ballet -  And their own theatre family experiences.

What makes these troupes unique is the additions of theatrical play  and very creative props​ that are included in the performances.
